Fine Art Prints: “Dancing Helix”

“Dancing Helix” designs start with pencil on paper to shape ideas; then portions are painted and digitized to add layers of translucent colors. Completed images are printed with pigment inks on 100% archival rag paper for intense, rich colors.

What’s included: Your selection is printed by Lynn, dated, and signed in pencil. The print is delivered unframed, rolled with acid-free protective paper, and sent in a strong mailing tube. Shipping is free (within the continental United States).

Size: The image is about 8.25 x 20 inches and floats on paper that measures 11 x 22 inches. If you choose to mat the print add about three-quarters of an inch on all sides of the image. The extra room allows the design and colors to breathe.

“Dancing Helix” original fine art prints
The fine art prints are original designs by Lynn Fellman celebrating the lively, dynamic quality of our genome. The image on the left is the “ochre-red-plum” design shown in the gallery (above). The image on the right is a “Swirling Helix” design titled “indigo-violet-ocean.” The unframed version of “indigo-violet-ocean” is available for purchase here.

Did you know that DNA is packaged into chromosomes that move and bend? They “dance” to activate genes to make our biology function correctly. These genome-themed paintings celebrate this dynamic quality of our genome.
